Durable 35" x 23" mat has an active sensing area of 29" x 17". Slip-resistant top and bottom. A 6' cord comes out of the mat’s corner and may be connected to a Local Alarm or to a Wireless Alarm/Transmitter. Unit with a built-in local alarm. The Alarm/Transmitter can trigger a Remote Receiver/Alarm up to 100' away, which sounds and flashes. If mounted outside the patient’s room, it immediately directs the caregiver to the patient’s room. The lay-flat mat edge is only 3/16" thick so wheelchairs can roll over it without difficulty. Both systems may be adapted to a nurse call system.
