Fire Centurion Smoke Alarm WITH WIRELESS SMOKE DETECTOR
This ingenious smoke detector alarm can provide peace of mind to the deaf and hearing impaired while sleeping. For use at home and away.
The alarm system comes with smoke detector which is mounted to the ceiling. The bedside alarm is equiped with a xenon strobe light and a powerful vibrating pad.
This system 'listens' for a standard smoke detector's sounding alarm to alert the user via the strobe light and vibrating pad OR with the smoke detector, will alart you of smoke if a smoke detector is not installed. However, when used in a hotel, this unit will detect the hotel 'claxon' sound should an alarm be initiated.
The vibrating pad slips easily and safely under the person’s pillow, or under the fitted sheet beneath their pillow. When smoke is detected, the smoke alarm is signaled and the vibrator and strobe light begin to go to work, waking the sleeping person. Once they open their eyes they will be visually alerted that the alarm has gone off.
The Fire Centurion can go anywhere you go - as long as it is used in a room that has a smoke alarm sounder. When used in a hotel room, the bedside alarm uses microprocessor technology to 'listen' for the sound of a commercial claxon. When the hotel alarm goes off, the Fire Centurion is triggered, initiating the vibrating pad and flashing light. The deaf smoke alarm unit is designed to ignore snoring and normal background sounds, such as TV and audio systems.
If you have a 'Shake Awake' alarm clock, it can be used with this system.
